Delivered over 6 weeks, our Obesity & Weight Management Masterclass is endorsed by DiabetesUK Cymru, approved for CPD by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the United Kingdom, and is SCOPE Accredited. On successful completion of the end of course examination, you'll be awarded 8 SCOPE Points to count towards your SCOPE Certification and you’ll receive an accredited 60 Hour CPD Certificate awarded by learna.ac.uk.
You’ll have 1 hour to complete the end of course examination and must achieve a pass rate of 50% or more. If you score less than this, you’ll be given the opportunity to retake the exam only once.

The Learna Limited - Postgraduate Diplomas, MScs and Masterclasses, made available on https://www.learna.ac.uk/ and organized by Learna Limited, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.
Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMS-EACCME website have formally been accredited.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Topics Covered
Learning Style
Each week, you will be presented with a new topic (see the 'Topics Covered' section for more information) and discuss these with other students on your course. This is done via our online learning platform called Moodle, which is managed by one of our expert tutors.
As the course is delivered entirely online, you'll be able to access the learning material (including all webinars and videos) whenever suits you. There is no need to login at any specific time, which means you'll have the flexibility to learn around your current commitments without sacrificing your studies.
Instead of lectures or seminars, you'll learn via the following innovative teaching methods in the lead-up to your end of course examination:
Weekly webinars and videos
Reading list consisting of the latest publications and guidance
Case discussion forum and reflection
Case based assessment questions
During the final week of your Masterclass (Week 6), your end of course examination will become available. The exam will be available throughout the week, but once you begin the exam, you will only have 1 hour to complete all 30 multiple-choice questions. On completion, you will then receive either a Pass or Fail grade, which is dependent on whether you score 50% or higher.
If you achieve 50% or more, you'll be awarded with a 60 Hour CPD Certificate from learna.ac.uk. However, if you fail the examination, you will be given the opportunity to resit the exam once more.
