Providing Opportunities for Students Through Our University Collaborations

At Learna, we collaborate with a number of universities to deliver flexible, affordable, and high quality postgraduate courses to professionals across the globe. We are proud to partner with each of these universities, who share the same vision and values as Learna. As a company, we strive to empower busy professionals to continue their education with access to high quality resources and ensure each university we work with also inherits this exact ambition. Our partners currently include the University of South Wales, the University of Gibraltar and more recently, the University of Buckingham.

While Learna runs all of our distance learning courses, you are supported by our student services team and it’s Learna tutors who teach on our programmes, our postgraduate courses are all university validated. This means that you graduate with an internationally recognised qualification from an established higher education institution.

Our university partners examine every element of the courses we deliver with them to ensure the quality of content, teaching, and research meets the highest academic standards. Only then will they give their stamp of approval. Our expertise in online learning combined with the academic excellence of our university partners means you are getting the best experience possible.

So you can get to know our partners better, we’ve introduced each of them below...

University of South Wales

The University of South Wales (USW) is a UK university offering vocationally focused courses and degrees across three campuses in Cardiff, Newport, and Pontypridd, and many more delivered online in partnership with Learna. University of Buckingham

In recent months, we signed a partnership agreement with the University of Buckingham - the oldest of Britain’s independent universities.

The University of Buckingham was formally opened in February 1976 by the Rt. Hon. Mrs Margaret Thatcher, MP, as former Secretary of State for Education. At this time it had 65 students. As of 2020, the University has a student population of 3300, from over 70 countries.

Initially, The University of Buckingham offered courses in law, languages, politics, economics and life sciences. Over the years, more programmes were added in history, english literature, accounting, management, computing and psychology. More recently, the university offers education, medicine and allied health.

The University of Buckingham was ranked joint 6th for Student Satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2020, and was also ranked in the top 10 in England for Student Satisfaction by the Complete University Guide 2021. The University has a good employment rate, with 76% of the Universities graduates being employed full time, and 12% going on to study further. (December 2015 and July 2016)

We currently run three online courses delivered in partnership with the University of Buckingham; Dermatology in Clinical Practice, Neurosurgery and Women’s Health. The latter two courses are especially unique courses, with our Neurosurgery courses being the only one of its kind in the UK!
